Fortunately, it will not take this long to master digital technology and apply it to restorative dentistry. This course will be taught by prosthodontist Dr. Javier Quirós, who has dedicated his life to building beautiful smiles with composite resin and achieving full mouth rehabilitations in those dental-handicapped patients.
Dr. Bryan Torres, a dentist and lab technician who has mastered the digital part of dentistry, will co-instruct this course. Dr. Torres and Dr. Quirós will teach you the techniques necessary to transition into the new digital era—i.e., scanning, exocad® design, 3D printing, and manufacturing—making your practice more predictable, profitable, and satisfying!
This hands-on course will include the hardware and software for you to try first-hand. Discover hands-on how digital and analog articulators, design software, intraoral scanners, and 3D printers can integrate with restorative workflows.

Dr. Quirós is a graduate of the University of Costa Rica School of Dentistry and holds an Advanced Education in General Dentistry with a Fellowship in Cosmetic Dentistry. He concluded a Graduate Prosthodontics Program from the Texas A & M., Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Quirós teaches at Odontopolis Dental Training Institute, the Costa Rica Dental Association, and the Graduate Prosthodontics Department from the University of Costa Rica. He has presented numerous “hands on” courses, internationally and has a successful private practice, in San Jose, Costa Rica, which concentrates in Prosthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Torres is a graduate of Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. H has completed hundreds of continuing education hours. He has worked as a dentist and a lab technician for the last 10 years. Dr. Torres has dedicated his professional life to the development of new techniques for Digital Dentistry, new parameters for 3D printing materials, and scanning techniques for intraoral and extraoral dental procedures.
Dr. Torres also worked as the Research and Development director for Viax Dental Laboratories and First Fit guided Prosthodontics procedures, which took digital technologies to a new level of predictability.
