Renamel Microhybrid is the ideal dentin replacement due to its strength and opacity. This composite is easy to manipulate and place in thin layers. Renamel Microfill is a composite resin material that should be used anywhere you want to replace enamel for aesthetic purposes. Like natural enamel, Renamel Microfill gives you the best polish, long-term color stability, and natural translucence.
For any restoration if you want the best polishability, the best lifelike luster of a natural tooth, the best refractive and reflective index, the best long-term maintenance over time with the least wear, and the best simulation of natural tooth structure, then Renamel Microfill is King.
In June 2003 I placed 6 veneers with Renamel Microfill B1. Today this patient came to my office with a diagonal fracture of the veneer on #8. I completely replaced the veneer with the same B1 material. The result was hard to believe. The shade match was perfect! After all these years the old veneers had not discolored one bit. The patient said that she drinks tea and red wine quite often. The polishability of Renamel Microfill is amazing, and it apparently maintains its luster for many years. My patient was really impressed also.
For ultimate esthetics, nothing beats Renamel Microfill. For a composite that handles beautifully, has a natural translucency, polishes to an amazing shine and is color stable for many years…choose Renamel Microfill.
I’ve been using Renamel Microhybrid since 1994 in cases large and small. Its ability to adapt to the underlying tooth or composite layer is the BEST I’ve experienced. The chance of trapping air bubbles or having an open margin is reduced because of its viscosity. The degree of opacity seems ideal for most single material restorations, too, which minimizes tooth show thru in large restorations. I’ve probably used it in more cases than any other material, and I still use it regularly.
