Versatile, Multi-purpose Etching Systems
If you require a versatile etching system, capable of
etching dentin, enamel, composite and porcelain, you will find Cosmedent's
multipurpose etchants the materials of choice.
PorcelEtch
A 9.5% hydrofluoric acid used to etch porcelain
intraorally as well as extraorally. PorcelEtch allows you to achieve a
reliable bond to porcelain for any porcelain repair while obtaining esthetic
and long lasting results. Vivid color (green) insures exact placement.
CompositeEtch
A clear 9.5% hydrofluoric acid for etching hybrid
and large particle composite without staining.
EnamelEtch
A 37.5% phosphoric acid for enamel etching which
leaves no residue.
EtchProtect
A non toxic neutralizing gel that is pH balanced
to 7.2%. It is basically an inert food grade product designed to protect
the mucosa from the PorcelEtch. It is water soluble and easily washed
away.
Silantor
An easy to use, one step silanating agent to chemically
increase the bond strength of resin to porcelain. It is a highly stable
form of 2.5cc of silane liquid. Its excellent bond strength makes repairing
porcelain more reliable.
