K. William ‘Buddy’ Mopper, D.D.S, M.S.
Dr. Bud Mopper is in private practice in Glenview, Illinois, where he has been doing minimally invasive dentistry with composite for almost 40 years. He is an internationally renowned lecture in esthetic dentistry with an emphasis on composite bonding using direct application techniques. He co-authored, A Complete Guide to Dental Bonding, which was the first definitive book for the dental profession describing bonding techniques. He is a member of the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and Fellow of the American College of Dentistry. He teaches direct resin bonding on a continuing Education level at many major universitites including the State University of Iowa and the University of Illinois.
Dr. Mopper is the recipient of two of the most prestigious awards given by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. One for "Lifelong Commitment to Providing Excellence in Continuing Education in Cosmetic Dentistry" and second, an award for "Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry." He received the New York University College of Dentistry "The Irwin Smigel Prize in Esthetic Dentistry," and recently received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the World Aesthetic Congress in Egnland for his outstanding contribtion to cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mopper is Director of education for the Center for Esthetic Excellence, in Chicago, IL, and is Co-Founder and Chairman of Cosmedent, Inc.
Corky Willhite, D.D.S, F.A.A.C.D.
Dr. Corky Willhite has been awarded Fellowship by the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is one of 50 Accredited Fellows in the AACD of over 6,000 members worldwide. He has served on the Board of Governors (Currently American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry) and spent years as an Examiner for Accreditation. He is on the faculty of the Center for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago and post-graduate programs at Eastman Dental Center and the University of Minnesota. His private practice in suburban New Orleans, The Smile Design Center, is limited to cosmetic dentistry.
Jason Smithson, BDS (Lond), DipRestDentRCS (Eng)
Qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1995; achieving a number of awards including The Constance Klein Memorial, The Stafford Millar, and The Malcolm Jenkins Scholarships, The American Association of Endodontics Prize and the Overall Award for Clinical Dentistry. Jason practices at Pure Dental Health and Wellbeing, Cornwall, UK. His specific interest is direct composite resin artistry and minimally invasive all ceramic restorations and he has presented to dentists locally, nationally and internationally. He is involved in postgraduate dental teaching in both the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly and Plymouth Foundation Dental Practitioners Schemes. Jason is one of only two UK dentists ever to have an article accepted by the prestigious AACD journal: The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a past Chairman of The Cornwall Independent Practitioner’s Group: one of the largest independent study groups in the UK. In 2009, he was awarded the Pankey Scholarship and in 2011 was voted in the "Top 20 Most Influential Dentists" by Dentistry Magazine.

Newton Fahl, DDS., M.S.
Dr. Newton Fahl, Jr. is a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), and founding member and past-president of the Brazilian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry (BSAD). He is a MCG-Hinman Foundation fellow. Dr. Fahl is the recipient of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry 2008 President´s Award for Best Teacher and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Excellence in Cosmetic Dental Education 2011 Award. He is on editorial board of the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, American Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, and Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry – PPA&D. He is an active consultant for several manufacturers in the development and refinement of new materials and techniques and maintains a private practice emphasizing esthetic and cosmetic dentistry.
Fred Margolis DDS, M.S.
Dr. Margolis received his B.S. and D.D.S. from The Ohio State University and his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Instructor at Loyola University’s Oral Health Center and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, Academy of Dentistry International, and the Odontographic Society. He has received a Mastership in laser dentistry from both the World Clinical Laser Institute and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Margolis is director of the Institute for Advanced Dental Education and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He was recently selected by Dentistry Today Journal as a "top clinician in continuing education for 2011." Dr. Margolis is in full-time private practice of pediatric dentistry in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Robert C. Margeas, D.D.S
Dr. Bob Margeas received his D.D.S. from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in 1986 and completed an A.E.G.D. residency in 1987. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa. Dr. Margeas is board certified by the American Board of Operative Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He lectures on esthetic dentistry and has published numerous articles on the subject. Dr. Margeas maintains a private practice with a focus on comprehensive esthetic restorative dentistry in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dennis Hartlieb, D. D.S.
Dr. Dennis Hartlieb is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He maintains a full time practice in the Chicago suburb of Glenview, Illinois. Dr. Hartlieb is an instructor at the Center for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He lectures extensively to dentists throughout the US on the art and science of anterior and posterior direct resin techniques.
As a consultant for many dental manufacturers, Dr. Hartlieb is influential in the design of materials widely used in restorative dentistry. His dentistry has been seen in many dental publications and he has contributed articles on his techniques in restorative dentistry. Dr. Hartlieb is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also president of the Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinarydentofacial Therapy, and officer for the Chicago Academy of Dental Research study club.
Robert Mopper
Robert Mopper has been teaching dental esthetics at Universisties and dental meetings for more than 15 years. Robert lectures and conducts hand-on courses both nationally and internationally to help doctors improve their skills with composite. Robert has taught at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduate courses at Tufts Dental School, King's College London, LSU Continuing Education Courses, University of Granada Spain, and Harvard University's School of Dental Medicine. Robert is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics.
Erika Heier
Erika Heier runs our Center for Esthetic Excellence. She has worked for 20 years in the dental industry, combining clinical experience with technical support. Erika has been with the CEE from its inception.
Bennett Cochran
Mr. Bennett Cochran has been teaching continuing education courses for over 11 years. Mr. Cochran has tuaght hands-on courses demonstrating step by step procedures for the use of composites both in the United States and throughout the world. He is a regular presenter at the Center for Esthetic Excellence here in Chicago and has taught at the Royal Collefe of Surgeons in London, the FAMDENT conference in Delhi, India, The University of Szeged, Hungary and a series of courses throughout New Zealand. Additionally he has worked with many well known lecturers worldwide assisting with the hands-on components
